The inventory (for way down the road)

Not urgent while everything snaps home. The day a spring breaks, this is what turns a mystery into an order. Do it on a rainy weekend with the chassis on the bench, one subsystem at a time, and hand each batch to Claude to fold into the book.

Measure in place per §4.2; you don't have to unhook anything. Photograph wide first, then close with a ruler, then the three siblings together where they exist.

Spacers are logic (Chapter 4). Log every stack before a screw comes out, and put it back the same.
